ParqNow is a DBA of TXP Investment Group LLC, a Maryland LLC. We operate a two-sided parking marketplace connecting subscribers with Parking Monitors in the DMV area. Contact: privacy@parqnow.com.
2. Information we collect
From Subscribers (app users):
- Name, email, password
- Phone number
- Payment information (processed by Stripe — ParqNow does not store card numbers)
- GPS location when requesting a hold
- Hold history and usage patterns
- Device information and IP address
From Parking Monitors (1099 contractors):
- Full legal name, email, phone, date of birth, home address
- Last 4 digits of Social Security Number
- Government-issued photo ID and selfie
- Vehicle information and insurance documents
- GPS location continuously during active holds
- Earnings and payout information
- Background check consent and results
3. How we use your information
- To operate the ParqNow platform
- To connect subscribers with available monitors
- To verify monitor identity and eligibility
- To process payments via Stripe
- To detect and prevent fraud
- To send service communications via Twilio SMS and Resend email
- To improve our services
- To comply with legal obligations
4. GPS and location data
ParqNow collects precise GPS location data from Parking Monitors during active hold sessions. Location data is used to:
- Verify monitors are physically present at the requested parking location
- Detect fraudulent hold activity
- Display monitor locations to administrators
5. Identity documents
Government-issued ID photos and selfies submitted by Parking Monitors are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage. These documents are accessible only to ParqNow administrative staff for vetting purposes. Documents are retained for the duration of the monitor relationship plus 7 years for legal compliance.
6. Sharing your information
We share information with:
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Supabase (secure data storage)
- Twilio (SMS communications)
- Resend (email communications)
- Law enforcement when required by law
7. Data retention
- Account data: retained while account active plus 3 years after closure
- Monitor documents: 7 years
- GPS location data: 90 days rolling
- Transaction records: 7 years (IRS requirement)
8. Your rights
You may request:
- Access to your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your account and data (subject to legal retention requirements)
9. Security
We use industry-standard encryption, row-level security, and access controls to protect your information.
