Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By using ParqNow you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
ParqNow connects subscribers who need parking spaces held with independent contractors (Parking Monitors) who physically occupy spaces on their behalf. ParqNow does not own, control, or guarantee availability of any parking spaces.
3. Subscriber terms
- You must be 18 or older to use ParqNow
- You are responsible for timely arrival when a space is held for you
- Holds are time-limited — monitor will vacate if you do not arrive within the agreed timeframe
- Payment is charged upon hold completion
- Refunds are at ParqNow's discretion
4. Parking Monitor terms
- Monitors are independent contractors, not employees of ParqNow
- Monitors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and compliance with all applicable laws
- Monitors must comply with all parking lot rules and local ordinances
- Fraudulent activity results in immediate deactivation and forfeiture of earnings
- ParqNow bears no liability for incidents occurring during hold sessions
5. Prohibited conduct
Users and monitors may not:
- Provide false information
- Manipulate the GPS or location system
- Coordinate fake holds for payment fraud
- Harass other users or monitors
- Violate any applicable laws
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. ParqNow retains a platform fee per hold. Monitor payouts are subject to fraud review and may be withheld pending investigation.
7. Limitation of liability
ParqNow is a technology platform only. We are not responsible for:
- Actions of Parking Monitors
- Parking lot policies or restrictions
- Disputes between subscribers and monitors
- Loss or damage occurring during holds
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms at any time without notice.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
10. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
